According to a survey conducted on the economic impact of COVID-19 in Indonesia in July 2020, the share of Indonesian respondents who believed that large-scale social distancing (PSBB) should be lifted to reopen the economy increased to approximately 61 percent compared to May 2020. Meanwhile, about 35 percent of Indonesian respondents were of the opinion that it should be maintained to contain the spread of COVID-19.
