Coronavirus (COVID-19) information sources used in Kenya 2020
Majority of the population in Kenya (82.8 percent) used the radio as a source of information on the coronavirus (COVID-19), whereas television was used by 58.6 percent to get informed about the pandemic between May 30 and June 6, 2020. In an attempt to contain the virus spread, Kenya adopted measures such as restrictions on political and social gatherings, temporary closure of restaurants and bars, and a dusk-to-dawn nationwide curfew.
