Tooth loss among U.S. adults over 50 years with select conditions from 2011-2016
Based on data collected from 2011-2016, the prevalence of tooth loss was highest among U.S. adults over 50 years of age who reported having emphysema, as compared to those with other chronic conditions. This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults aged 50 years and older with select chronic conditions who also have edentulism, severe tooth loss, or lack of functional dentition, from 2011-2016.
