During a June 2020 survey, registered voters were asked how important they thought it was for Congress to pass a bill to overhaul the criminal justice system. The survey results showed that only four percent of respondents believed that Congress should not pass such a bill. Adversely, 38 percent of survey participants thought it should be a top priority.
