Share of fraud-free influencers on Instagram worldwide 2018-2019, by profile size
According to the findings of a study examining the state of influencer marketing on Instagram, the accounts with less than five thousand followers were also the one with the highest percentage of fraud-free influencers in 2019, at 51 percent. In comparison, the second tier of accounts, those with five to 20 thousand followers, had only 28.9 percent of fraud-free influencers.
