Most tourism-dependent Latin American and Caribbean employment markets 2018
In 2018, Venezuela was one of the most tourism-dependent country in terms of employment in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a rate of nearly one job per tourist visiting the country. Brazil was the nation with the second largest number of direct tourism jobs per 100 travelers, with 37 jobs per 100 tourists or nearly 0.4 jobs per traveler. Honduras, Haiti and Colombia complete the top five of most tourism-dependent job markets in the region that year.
