The highest amount of paid holidays granted by law for employees in Latin America is 30 days per year. The countries that guarantee this length of annual paid leave are Brazil, Cuba, Panama, Peru, and Nicaragua. At the other end of the spectrum are the Caribbean nations Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago, whose law systems do not guarantee a minimum number of paid holidays for employees. In Mexico, employees were only granted a minimum of six paid holidays per year as of 2023.
