Main reasons for having an online presence for companies in France 2021
The statistic assesses the maturity of very small enterprises (VSEs), small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and micro enterprises on the internet in France in 2021. Most of the companies (64 percent) mentioned the importance of displaying their general activities on the web, 45 percent stated that an online presence gave clients an easier access to their platform. Enterprise representation on the internet was also linked to client acquisition and communication with 44 percent of the sample considering it as necessary. The businesses also mentioned online sales as an important part of online presence (36 percent).
