Influential channels in purchase process of shoppers in the UK 2017
This statistic shows the results of a survey released in 2017 in which respondents were asked about the resources that were influential in their purchase process in the United Kingdom (UK). The survey results revealed that retailers' own websites and apps were still the most influential resource in the purchase process, with half of respondents agreeing that they are the most influential channels in their purchase journey. 24 percent of shoppers stated that newspaper advertising was less influential as a channel in their process of purchasing retail products.
