Share of Americans who think marriage should be a life goal in 2016, by gender
This statistic shows the share of Americans who think that marriage should be something for everybody to aspire to. During the survey, conducted in March 2016, 20 percent of the men interviewed said marriage should be a goal in everybody's life, whereas 18 percent of the women agreed.
