The term is defined as the percentage of individuals watching a TV channel or listening to a radio station out of all individuals watching television or listening to the radio during a specific survey period. In week 52 of 2017, the TV channel NRK1 was ranked highest with an audience share of 26.2 percent, followed by the channels TV2 (15.1 percent) and TVNORGE (8.4 percent).
