In 2022, it was estimated that around eight percent of those aged 65 years and older in the United States had had a heart attack. This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults aged 65 years and older who had ever been told by a doctor or other health professional they had heart attack or myocardial infarction from 2019 to 2022.
