Number of licensed sports/exercise specialists for health South Korea 2014-2022
In 2022, there were 308 newly certified sports/exercise specialists for health in South Korea. Although this was a decrease from the previous year, it was the second-highest figure recorded during the surveyed period. Those over the age of 18 with a tertiery education degree in sports-related fields or an equivalent title are eligible to apply for a sports/exercise specialist for health certification, which entails a written and practical exam as well as a period of additional training and study.
