Confirmed monkeypox cases in Latin America & Caribbean 2023, by country
As of December 12, 2023, Brazil was the country with the highest number of confirmed monkeypox cases in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a total of 10,967 cases. Colombia followed, with 4,090 confirmed cases of the disease by that time. Other affected countries in the region included Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
