Poland was the largest producer of renewable energy sources among Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, at nearly 18.9 billion kilowatt-hours in 2020. Romania and Czechia ranked second and third, respectively, with a production exceeding eight billion kilowatt-hours in each country. Albania produced the lowest amount of renewable energy in the region.
