Brazil: share of e-commerce enterprises on apps & marketplaces 2019-2020
In 2020, around 5.73 percent of e-commerce enterprises in Brazil were present on marketplaces, up from 3.99 percent of online shops a year earlier. Furthermore, over 12 percent of e-commerce businesses in the South American country were present on mobile apps in 2020. Between January and May 2020, Brazil saw an increase in the installation of its leading e-commerce apps by nearly 100 percent compared with the same period in 2019.
