Share of first-time buyers online since the confinement in France 2020
After the announcement of the confinement due to coronavirus outbreak, the online buying habits of the French population have changed significantly. Among online shoppers (merchant sites and drive), 70 percent of baby boomers had never bought groceries online before. They were followed by the generations X and Z with both 39 percent of people from who did not engage in online shopping before the announcement either.
