The total global stem cell therapy market was valued at around 755 million U.S. dollars in 2018, and it is projected to reach around 11 billion dollars by 2029. Stem cell therapies are mostly distributed into two types: autologous treatment (treatment with patient’s own stem cells) and allogenic treatment (treatment with donor’s stem cells). The market share of autologous treatments is expected to drop from 56 to some 36 percent from 2018 to 2029.
